Instant Brands Inc and Tyson Foods, Inc, has joined forces to develop Tyson Insta Pot Kits.
These meal kits are designed to cook in 20 minutes and contains 100 percent natural chicken, premium long-grain rice and signature sauces. Consumers can buy three varieties: Hatch Green Chile Chicken and Rice Casserole, Cajun Style Chicken and Rice and Teriyaki Chicken and Rice. Each meal kit serves 4.5 servings and ranges from 320 to 410 calories with at least 19 grams of protein.
Yahoo Finance reports that Tyson and Instant Pot collaborated to go “after the lucrative meal kit market that generated an estimated $3.1 billion of sales in 2018.”
In press release, Steve Silzer, Tyson’s marketing director said “We know lack of time is one of the biggest reasons people go to a restaurant or order out, which was the inspiration behind creating our fully-prepped meal kits,” he continued, “By combining our expertise in chicken, with Instant Pot’s credibility in cookware, we’re able to bring a fresh meal to the table that’s culinary-inspired, stress-free and fast.”
Tyson’s Instant Pot Kits can be found in select locations and will rollout to nationwide location near you some time spring 2020. For more information on the Tyson meal kits, check out Tyson Foods, Inc.
